ILLEGAL PICTURES

Gary Jenkins and other of Bill Burnette's friends repeatedly complained about finding bruises on Mr. Burnette's hands, and discovering workers restraining each hand during brute-forced showering. Such pictures as these provoked the Manorhouse management and the Conservator of the Person, Fielding Atchley, to issue another rule -- no cameras allowed -- under threat of the revocation of "visitation privileges." Meanwhile, Gary Jenkins had been repeatedly threatened with "calling the police" if he overstayed his visitation period by five minutes (AUDIO ONE).

Nurse Practitioner Tim Hocking testified in open court on February 8, 2006 that he had noted bruises on Mr. Burnette's hands but did not know the cause of the repeated bruising. He testified he could not identify these pictures as the hand of Mr. Burnette; that in two and a half years he had never noticed Mr. Burnette's small left finger was partly missing, yet he had noted bruising (AUDIO TWO). He admitted he was the only nurse practitioner going into Manorhouse, but the loss of Manorhouse would be of no difference to him as he [somewhere?] had "300 patients." Chancellor Brown found him entirely creditable, nevertheless. Bill Burnette, in the "last stage of Alzheimer's," so it was testified, still enjoys playing the piano (AUDIO THREE).
